 Sri. K. Umamaheshwar Rao has served for 37 years in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as Head of the various Kendriya Vidyalayas located in different parts of the country. Subsequently he became the Assistant Commissioner of Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad Regions, coordinating and administering the Kendriya Vidyalayas located in the States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka , Goa and then Andhra Pradesh. He was also the Divisional Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, in Bangalore Region.

Sri K.U.M. Rao was also the Founder Director of Sahodaya Schools Complex in Bangalore. In his

 capacity as an administrator, he has organized a large number of workshops forTeachers, Principals at All India level in various academic disciplines including Value Education Camps.

Mr. M. Mahadevan M.A.(Hons), M.Ed. joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a unit of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India in 1965, as Post Graduate Teacher in Mathematics and continued to serve the organization as teacher, vice principal and principal for 33 years and 8 months.

He had served as a member of professional bodies like the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India, Delhi Association of Mathematics Teachers, Kerala Mathematics Teachers Association, English Language Teachers Association and functioned as the General Secretary of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India(AMTI) for 21 years in succession.

His initiative has propelled him to take up various assignments and has utilized it in teaching learning experiences, in-service courses in the subject of specialization with or without foreign collaboration, in educational experimentations including innovative strategies, motivating children  to learn independently. His guidance has helped students to achieve acclaimed positions in scholastic and competitive fields. He has arranged field trips for children and teachers to studying the environment and conditioning self to manage any situation.

As a hobby, he collects and records thoughts on education and educational administration for excellence browsing through books, newspapers, magazines more than 20 in number- daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly and the like, even at international level.

Presently, he is an active member of the Executive Committee of KVS REEDAC.

With her rich experience of thirty-six years in KVS, Ms. Anu Thomas is well versed in the current trends in school education and guides schools in all areas of academic administration. She has extensive experience in Teacher Training as a Resource Person and Director of In-service Training programmes organised by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in various schools as well as in its Zonal Institute of Education and Training. She has also coordinated training programmes organised by IGNOU for KV teachers.

She has participated in International Projects sponsored by British Council and CBSE as part of the delegations of School Leaders visiting UK and China in 2007 and 2013 respectively. Her commitment in moulding her students as holistic personalities has been recognised through “KVS National Incentive Award for PGTs” in 1998 and as the National Winner of “EQFI Award for School Leaders” by Education Quality Foundation of India in 2008. Ms. Anu Thomas is associated with Era foundation Bangalore as Marg Certified Counsellor from April 2021. She is the founder Secretary of KVS REEDAC.

Ms. M.S.Sudha Principal,(Retd.)KVS is a post graduate in Botany from Bangalore University, B.Ed. from Regional college of Education Mysore and a Diploma in Distance Education from IGNOU. A passionate teacher, worked as Post Graduate Teacher with dedicated and fulfilling service of 27 years in Kendriya Vidyalaya’s and National English School Rajajinagar. In addition she has served 11 years as principal in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Her competency as Resource Person for In-Service Training Programmes for teachers in science has been highly appreciated. She has prepared study materials in Science and Biology.Post retirement, she continues to serve the cause of Education by sharing the experience and expertise gained over the years as an Education Consultant, Content Developer, and an Active Member of KVS-REEDAC training in empowering School Teachers. She is the founder Treasurer of KVS REEDAC

Ms.S. Umadevi has served as Post graduate teacher in Physics for 37 years in various Kendriya Vidyalayas including 15 years of administrative experience. She was a Resource Person in several workshops for science teachers in methodology and techniques of teaching, which was highly appreciated. She has actively participated in teachers’ training programs organized for science teachers. In the capacity of District Commissioner for Guides, under Bharat Scouts & Guides, she has successfully conducted several camps instilling values in the children.

Mr. K L Nagaraju M. A (English), M.A (Psychology), M. Ed retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 40 years of committed service. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma Degree in Guidance & Counselling, NCERT.

Mr.K L Nagaraju has taught in various Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country and was also selected and deputed for a tenure abroad. He has worked as a Principal in Kendriya Vidyalaya as well as Navodaya Vidyalaya.

During the last five years of service, Mr. K L Nagaraju retired as Assistant Commissioner. In his tenure of five years he has played a pivotal role in mentoring teachers, improving the quality of teaching learning, and in conducting teacher training workshops.

Mr. Eshwarappa, M.Sc, B.Ed, PGDGC, TGT Science retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 38years of sincere and dedicated service . He has also worked as a principal for 2 years in a Private School, post retirement

 Mr.Eshwarappa is qualified in Guidance and Counseling with a Post-Graduation diploma from RIE Mysore. He is a proficient Teacher, Mentor, Counselor and a valued Philosopher.

Mr.Eshwarappa was awarded with C.V. Raman Science Teaching Award in 2012 for Innovative Efforts in Science Teaching at Secondary Level. He is currently mentoring teachers and students in a Private Institution and is an active member of KVSREEDAC.

Mrs. Ramani Thyagarajan, M.Sc(Physics), M.Ed, retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 33 years of dedicated service. She has been a passionate teacher and has been successful in developing an interest in Physics.

 She has been in Administration from 2010 to 2018 co-ordinating and collating with nearly 100 Education Institutions of Chinmaya after taking VRS in2006. While working with CCMT Education Cell she has organized teacher empowerment programs for teachers in Curricular and Co-curricular subjects, organized personality development, adventure and Seva camps for students. She is an active member of KVSREEDAC

Mrs. Jayashree LK, MA B.Ed and Shikshah( BEd in Hindi) has retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 36 years of sincere service.

Mrs. Jayashree LK through her innovative teaching learning strategies has been successful in developing a passion in students to learn the language. Her contribution as a resource person for training teachers is commendable.

Mrs. Jayashree LK was the Academic Counsellor for Certificate Programme for development for Primary Teachers from IGNOU. She is a member of KVSREEDAC and has contributed in training and mentoring teachers of the Hindi Department affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and State Boards.   

Mrs.Prabha Diwakar BSc BEd ,MA (English),PGDTE (CIEFL) HYD, TGT Science retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 27 years of sincere service.

Mrs. Prabha Diwakar has been a resource person to train primary teachers. She is also skilled in life skill training and curriculum development.

Mrs. Prabha Diwakar was awarded the Best Science Teacher’s Award in 2012. She was also selected by Microsoft to attend a programme in Brazil.

MS Parimala BSc BEd, TGT Mathematics retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 32 years of dedicated service.

Ms.MS Parimala has practiced innovative methods to teach mathematics and was successful in developing love for mathematics in children. She has been trained in life skill development.  She is associated with KVSREEDAC in training and mentoring teachers of the Mathematics Department affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and State Boards.

Mrs. Poornima Kumaraswamy, M.Sc, B.Ed, retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 30 years of sincere service. She has also worked as a Vice-Principal.

Mrs. Poornima Kumaraswamy is very good at organizational skill as she has headed different committees. She has also effectively rendered her responsibility as an organizer of Regional Science Exhibition.

She is currently associated with Academy for Creative Teaching for academic auditing, content enrichment, ERA foundation and Meta- i technologies for MCQ development for competitive exams. She is also involved in the preparation of study material and evaluation tools. She is an active member of KVSREEDAC

Ms. Sreedevi Warrier, BSc.Ed, MA (English), PGT retired from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan after rendering 39 years of sincere service in various schools. She was also selected and deputed as PGT in Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu for a period of three years.

 Ms. Sreedevi, through her innovative teaching learning methodology, has been successful in developing communicative skills and to instill a passion for English Language.  As a Resource Person, her expertise in training primary secondary and senior secondary teachers teaching English was appreciated.

Mrs Sreedevi is a member with KVSREEDAC and has participated in training and mentoring teachers of the English Department affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and State Boards. She is associated with Academy of Creative teaching for academic audit and content enrichment for various schools. She is also working as a consultant with a CBSE school in Bangalore. She has also trained teachers of schools associated with Macmillan Group.

Mrs. Sreedevi Warier has received certificate of appreciation from the Ambassador of Kathmandu. She has been bestowed with the prestigious Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangahtan National Incentive Award in 2009

C.K.Vasanthakumari M.A English Language & Literature, B.Ed English & Special English 

Devoted her services to teaching the English Language & Literature in Colleges & schools all over India over the last 43 years. As an Academic Auditor she served 3 schools of the Renuka Sugar mills & assisted to overcome the shortcomings & produce qualitative results as students of 2 schools were facing the Public Boards for the first time.

In Bangalore 3 of the MEC schools also achieved outstanding results & transformation of their existing ways for affiliation to ICSE in the 8th grade.She later worked for a start up software company & authored an online Grammar book for the 10th CBSE  English.

In NIOS I assumed a Team Leader’s role a couple of times, to help in the Evaluation Centre of the 10th Board Exams. She has strongly engaged in imparting the English language classes to students from Overseas & many elders & the young wishing to improve their language prowess. Since 2019 she has been actively working with college degree students of the Animaster College handling General English and Additional English classes. Been an active member of REEDAC  and rendering her services as & when required.

 Joined sangathan as PGT (Physics) at KV colaba in 1980 and was transfered to Bangalore K V Hebbal I 1982. Selected as Principal and posted to KV No2 Mangalore.After serving for five years took voluntary retirement.During her service she has organized many workshops, Regional science exhibition and organised in service courses for teachers.She had  also worked as a Lecturer and as a principal of private ICSE and CBS E schools.She has  contributed articles to weekly and monthly magazines.very much interested in guiding the present day teachers.
